An intense nor’easter flooded communities along the Jersey Shore on Saturday, forcing residents and their pets to get creative with their modes of transportation.

Footage filmed by Robin Shaffer shows his dog Daisy floating through the floodwaters in Ocean City on a kayak.

“While certainly worried about the flooding, I decided to make the best of a difficult situation,” Shaffer told Storyful. “The dog seemed to enjoy herself, and earned a big treat when we ‘docked’ at our front steps.”
