🇺🇸 Microsoft just showed 60,000 employees the exit door… and asked them nicely to walk through it. The company is offering voluntary buyouts to workers in the U.S., Canada, India and the UK, all the way up to vice president level. That’s about 27% of its entire workforce of 223,000. Meanwhile, its spending on AI data centers is expected to top $50 BILLION in a single quarter, up from $34.9 billion a year ago. The servers are getting the raise, the humans are getting the buyout. 🇩🇪 A car plowed into a group of people near Hanover, Germany, late last night, and police had to open fire to stop it. It happened just before midnight in the small town of Neustadt am Rübenberge. 4 to 5 people were hurt, some seriously, but none of them are in life-threatening condition. By pure luck, officers were running a traffic check nearby, saw it happen and shot at the BMW. Whoever was inside still got away on foot, and police don’t even know yet how many attackers there were. Twin brother takes the stand in Sandra Birchmore murder trial


William “Billy” Farwell, the twin brother of ex-cop Matthew Farwell, testified Monday under a grant of federal immunity. He admitted to a sexual relationship with Sandra, including while on duty as a police officer, and said he didn’t know she was also involved with his twin. Sandra’s cousin, Barbara Wright, told “Jesse Weber Live” she doesn’t believe his story and wants to know if Billy is the “mystery man” seen on longer surveillance footage walking past the apartment doorway just before Matthew leaves. “Twins know everything about each other,” she said.
