🚨🇫🇷 France is handing down the first sentences from its latest wave of RIOTS and looting…
Many of the defendants won’t serve ANY prison time.
Across cities like Toulouse, Lille, Lyon, Rouen, and Perpignan, sentences described in initial court reports range from community service and suspended terms to electronic monitoring and several months behind bars.
The cases include looting stores, attacking or throwing projectiles at police, attempted break-ins, and vandalism.
Several defendants were repeat offenders, while SOME of the foreign defendants were also ordered out of French territory (at least in theory).
