It’s definitely a bitter sweet feeling, but in today’s video, I’m taking you along the neighborhood, embracing my routines, exploring spots I’ve never been to thanks to the Karpo app: https://app.karpo.ai/lp/good-company?ch=via&yvid=elle_garenne -saying goodbye to the place I’ve called home and grew so much in. Hope you all enjoy the video! I love you all & thank you so much for watching 💕🚕

his week a retired senior FBI agent Charles McGonigal was arrested on charges of money laundering and violating US sanctions. Also this week, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) issued an alert on Potential U.S. Commercial Real Estate Investments by Sanctioned Russian Elites, Oligarchs, and Their Proxies. John and Elliot discuss the arrest and its implications for national security and look at the details of the alert including the typologies and red flags included in it. They also examine McGonigal’s relationship to a sanctioned Russian oligarch and efforts by other sanctioned oligarchs to us real estate transactions to hide and preserve their wealth.

Fifty years can erase more than buildings. In Brooklyn, entire neighborhoods changed their rhythm, their people, even their identity so completely that some barely feel like the same places anymore. What once looked rough, quiet, working-class, forgotten, or deeply local now tells a very different story. And when you put the old streets next to what stands there today, the contrast is almost hard to process.

At today’s House Armed Services Committee hearing, Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) had a tough exchange with War Sec. Pete Hegseth over Tim Parlatore, an attorney and top advisor to Hegseth.
