Trump: Iran will face “unbelievable consequences” if it violates the deal’s nuclear provisions. “All hell will rain down” if Tehran develops, purchases, or otherwise acquires a nuclear weapon.
Trump says he only agreed to sign after language was added blocking Iran from buying or acquiring a weapon. He declined to specify what actions the U.S. would take, saying only that the consequences would be “the ultimate consequences.”
Despite the warning, Trump says he still hopes the agreement leads to a positive relationship between Washington and Tehran.

According to Axios, CIA Director John Ratcliffe warned President Trump and other senior officials that U.S. intelligence has uncovered evidence casting significant doubt on Iran’s willingness to accept the nuclear concessions Washington is seeking in a final agreement.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly shared those concerns, raising questions about the proposed memorandum of understanding.
Vice President Vance, along with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, argued in favor of moving forward with the deal.

Eight people aboard a B-52 Stratofortress were killed Monday when the plane crashed shortly after takeoff at Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California. Officials characterized the incident as “an unrecoverable crash and unsurvivable.”
