Citing six diplomats familiar with the event’s planning, *Politico* reported that several European countries have not received an invitation to a NATO working meeting scheduled for October in Poland. Notably, the Pentagon has removed Great Britain, France, and the Baltic states from the list of participants.
The publication highlights that this comes against the backdrop of earlier reports claiming Trump had compiled a list of “good” and “bad” NATO allies; he reportedly intends to find ways to “punish” those countries that refused to support the war against Iran that he had instigated.

Houthis Strike Medina Power Station For Prophet’s Mosque, Saudi Hits Yemen In Revenge Blitz
Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen’s Houthis said the Iran-aligned group attacked a power distribution station in Medina that supplies electricity to the Prophet’s Mosque as fighting between the two sides intensified. The coalition said the attack damaged one transformer at the station but did not affect the power network. The Houthis denied carrying out the attack, saying the Saudi claim was a lie to cover up as Saudi’s failure to back up its earlier claims that they targeted the Muslim holy, according to the Houthi-run Saba news agency.
