My keyboard is typing by itself, could there be a ghost in it?

The keyboard on my laptop seems to be typing by itself: It sometimes types characters like 134, whether by itself or when I hit certain keys. Repeating characters may appear unexpectedly. The system volume may change by itself, or windows like the Print dialog or Web browser may appear.

🇮🇷 Kpler’s data on Iranian oil exports is suddenly under a microscope after attention turned to the politics of one of its most prominent Iran analysts. Homayoun Falakshahi, who leads Kpler’s crude oil analysis team, uses Iran’s pre-1979 Pahlavi-era flag on his X profile, which has prompted questions about his political sympathies and the perceived neutrality of Kpler’s Iran coverage. But when politically sensitive, market-moving data relies heavily on analysts with openly held views on the country they cover, people are inevitably going to start asking harder questions about neutrality.

🇮🇳🇦🇪 The Flydubai captain has spoken for the first time, saying he kept going because he “couldn’t let everybody else die.” Smit Machchhar told Indian PM Modi on a video call today that he was so badly wounded he’d collapsed on the cockpit floor, wondering whether he’d ever get back up. With the plane going down and the copilot still beating him, he pushed himself to the cockpit door and opened it, letting passengers rush in to restrain the attacker and help get the Tel Aviv-bound flight back under control. Bleeding on the floor of a falling plane, his last thought was everyone sitting behind that door, and that’s the stuff real heroes are made of. Source: CNN / Writer: Julie
