🇦🇷 Messi is officially getting his own animated universe.
Disney+ just dropped the first teaser for “Messi and the Giants,” a sports-fantasy series executive produced by Lionel Messi.
It follows 12-year-old Leo, who gets trapped in a world ruled by giants and has to fight his way through soccer-style battles to restore its shattered realms.
The show premieres globally in summer 2027.
Now I just hope Disney doesn’t somehow make it unbearably woke.

The battlefield around Taiz is becoming increasingly dangerous for the Saudi-backed PLC.
Ansar Allah forces are pressing toward the remaining corridor connecting PLC-held positions, raising the prospect of a broader encirclement.
What stands out is the character of the advance. This is no longer the kind of loosely organized insurgent warfare often associated with the Houthis. Their operations increasingly resemble those of a conventional military, with coordinated advances, battlefield discipline and an ability to exploit weaknesses in PLC lines.
That leaves Riyadh with an ugly choice.
Saudi Arabia has vastly superior aircraft, weapons and firepower, and the United States could again provide intelligence and targeting support. But another intervention would still depend on PLC forces being able to hold territory once the immediate pressure is relieved.
That is the deeper problem.
Saudi intervention could slow an Ansar Allah advance or prevent a sudden PLC collapse. But unless the PLC can stabilize its own front, Riyadh risks being dragged back into the same basic equation it spent years trying to escape: spending enormous amounts of money and military power to keep an increasingly vulnerable partner alive.
The battle for Taiz may therefore become much bigger than Taiz.
It could decide whether Saudi Arabia once again finds itself directly entangled in Yemen’s war.
