On 26 October Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Shaikha Al Nuwais, Secretary-General of the UN World Tourism Organization, to discuss cooperation and the development of Azerbaijan’s tourism sector. The meeting focused on government support for tourism, the expansion of modern tourism infrastructure beyond Baku and opportunities to strengthen cooperation with UN Tourism. Both sides highlighted Azerbaijan as an attractive destination for tourists, emphasising the importance of peace, security and infrastructure development in attracting international visitors.

Keith McCullough says that gap is exactly how bubbles break, with the most speculative names cracking first and the rest of the market catching up later:

“The AI bubble components have definitely not only started to pop, but drop and crash.”

The Nasdaq set its record on Oct 6 and has slid about 6% since, so the real test is whether the giants follow the small fry down.
