“Ukraine cannot have a weak president now. Maybe after the war, any kind, absolutely, it’s the choice of the people.
But for today, if Ukraine wants to survive, Ukraine needs a strong army, a strong president, strong people, with all respect to everybody.
That’s why the reaction is strong, and that’s why any pressure on me, my attitude, of course, I will answer. Because otherwise they will eat us. I mean Russians, of course.”
Unsurprisingly, he’s against holding any elections until the war’s over after Trump said that Ukraine needs a new president.
