Cole, arrested in December 2025, is charged with planting pipe bombs near the RNC and DNC before January 6. In an October 21st letter, Representative Thomas Massie told Kash Patel that the footage allegedly shows a man matching Cole on the northwest side while the suspect was placing devices on the southeast side.
