ABSOLUTELY INSANE…: Adam Schiff PRESSES Patel: Were FBI Agents Fired for Investigating Trump?

FBI Director Kash Patel faces sustained questions about agents who worked on the Mar-a-Lago and January 6 investigations, followed by scrutiny of whether FBI resources were used to look into reporters. Patel says most departures discussed were retirements, including departures before his arrival, and denies that simply working on those investigations justified dismissal. He also cites misconduct standards and an inspection process.

This edit preserves the questions, answers, follow-ups and procedural interventions. It includes Patel’s records-preservation assurance, his qualified response about a New York Times reporter and his categorical denial concerning Atlantic reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick. The exchange raises accountability questions but does not establish retaliatory firings or improper searches. AMERICA REPORT examines which answers are specific, which remain institutionally incomplete, and what records would be needed to test the competing claims.

00:00 Opening highlight
00:17 Mar-a-Lago investigators: questions about dismissals, the quoted ‘cleaned house’ claim, and Patel’s qualifications that most departed voluntarily and before his arrival.
04:01 January 6 investigators and personnel accountability: preserve repeated questions, Patel’s distinction between case assignment and alleged misconduct, his inspection-process defense, and the complete records-preservation exchange.
07:25 New York Times reporter: retain the disputed SWAT allegation, Patel’s rejection and objections, procedural interventions, the database question, and his uncertainty about other FBI personnel.
09:13 Atlantic reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick: retain the article dispute, complete resource-use question, Patel’s categorical denial, and the closing procedural response.

Putin, Donald Trump and China’s Xi Jinping could hold a three-way meeting on the sidelines of next month’s APEC summit in China, the Kremlin said on Monday.

Simon Marks hears from caller Henry who accuses him of being ‘blinded by his hatred for Trump’.

Instead, Simon presents him with the facts of Trump’s relationship with Putin… but caller Henry doesn’t seem to want to take it on board.
