Claude submitted a false tip to a Philadelphia police department about an unsolved homicide. In a report released Friday, Anthropic said some of its AI agents took unintended actions on some government agency websites. On July 18, Claude filled out a form on the Philadelphia police site, falsely indicating it had a tip about an unsolved case. Now police are calling on technology companies to fix these flaws, NewsNation’s Lia Lando reports.
