Turns out the future really does have flying cars. The new Tesla Roadster just proved it. Driving upside down, flipping in mid-air and jumping over other Teslas. All thanks to some seriously clever engineering and SpaceX cold-gas thrusters. Three configurations. Performance for the road, Thrust for the track and Rocket for the air. The Rocket version: 0–60 mph in under 0.59 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 230 mph. Beyond movies. Beyond imagination. Yet still made by humans right here on Earth. We’ve actually watched it fly. Mind-blowing! @Tesla @SpaceX / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné
