The rally is billed by the Republican National Committee as the start of a nationwide campaign push over the final 30 days before Election Day. RNC officials say Durant was chosen in part for its location near the Texas border, which lets the event reach voters in both Oklahoma and Texas. Oklahoma Republican candidates from across the ballot are expected to speak, and topics are expected to include taxes, border security, and the administration’s record.
