Luai Ahmed, whose mother ran a human rights group in Sana’a, says the pollster behind the 8% figure had to relocate after the takeover, and so did his mother’s organization:

“My own mother’s organization had to leave Sanaa because of the Houthi takeover.”

He calls the Houthis a group that shut down every human rights monitor and polling center in their territory.

If support is anywhere near those numbers, the Houthis are holding Sana’a by force, and any deal that locks them in leaves most Yemenis without a say in who runs their country.

He insists the attacks come from 150 to 200 “juvenile delinquents” rather than settlers.

CNN’s Jim Sciutto pointed out that 100 settlers took part in attacks on a single day earlier this week, even going after Israeli security forces who responded.

Netanyahu says he has put the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service, on the case, but wants people to keep things in proportion.

In the same breath, he acknowledged the group cuts down olive trees, throws stones, and has killed Palestinians in “one or two cases.”

For context, at least 23 Palestinians, including 9 U.S citizens, have been killed by settlers so far this year

Do you honestly believe Netanyahu would be so blasé to call it a hoax if 23 Israelis had been killed by Palestinians?
