AnewZ is reporting from ADEX 2026 day two in Baku, where Azerbaijan’s national pavilion is showcasing the country’s latest defence technologies and innovations.
Officials say 130 new products developed by enterprises of the Ministry of Defence Industry are being presented this year, including unmanned ground vehicles, armed robotic platforms and next-generation defence systems.
Alongside equipment displays, ADEX and Securex Caspian are hosting discussions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, electronic warfare and emerging defence technologies, while delegations from dozens of countries hold talks on future cooperation and partnerships.

Russia has issued a stark nuclear warning to NATO over Kaliningrad, accusing the alliance of escalating tensions and risking direct conflict. Moscow says it could use its full military arsenal, including nuclear weapons, if NATO attempts to isolate the Russian exclave. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte rejected an imminent threat, while NATO fighter jets from Spain, Italy and Turkey displayed air power in Lithuania. 🇸🇦 Something is disrupting the skies over southern Saudi, and the cause is still UNKNOWN.
Multiple flights approaching Abha appear to be stuck in holding patterns, while others are reportedly diverting after more than 30 minutes in the air.
The flight-tracking image shows several aircraft circling south of the airport.
Current arrival data also lists the affected Riyadh and Dammam services shown in the image.
There has been no confirmed explanation or early-warning alert so far.
Abha has previously experienced flight disruptions during regional hostilities, but there is currently no verified evidence that today’s situation has the same cause.
