Even though Maga has been “remarkably friendly” towards Putin, Trump’s attempt to “rehabilitate him” and present him as the guy to do business with him “just doesn’t really wash” with americans, says director of the Marie Colvin Centre for International Reporting, Sarah Baxter.

Sarah Baxter was speaking on Henry Bonsu on Times Radio. Listen Thursday and Friday, 10pm-1am.

The 16-year-old shooter, armed with what authorities described as a “long gun”, shot the locked doors to gain entry to the Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend and opened fire. At least four people — three students ages 5, 8 and 11, and one teacher — were killed in the attack before the gunman was shot and killed by a “bystander” who saw him enter the school with the gun, police said.

Officers were alerted around 1 p.m. local time after receiving a 911 call from a driver who said a person shot at his vehicle multiple times outside the school. Emergency crews transported victims to a local hospital. Within a minute of the initial call, law enforcement received dozens of 911 reports of an active shooter inside the building. Bend Police arrived at the scene by 1:02 p.m. — just two minutes after dispatch used a tone to alert all law enforcement in the area — and the shooter was down moments later.
