US Central Command released footage of a recent strike, in which American Forces destroyed an Iranian-affiliated boat conducting surveillance and targeting US Navy ships in the Gulf of Oman.
Before the boat was destroyed, all crew members were safely removed.
Efforts to repatriate individuals are currently in progress.
The US Military stated the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has persistently attacked thousands of civilian mariners navigating through regional waters over the last seven months, as well as American Navy warships.

A bipartisan group of eight states said on Wednesday they had sued OpenAI in courts across the country over harms they say ChatGPT has caused to their residents, alleging the chatbot has coached its users – including teenagers – to harm themselves or others, Report informs via Reuters.
Attorneys general from the states, which include Iowa, Kansas and Arizona, filed the lawsuits independently in state courts, claiming ChatGPT is designed to be agreeable and engaging to earn the trust of users. But the chatbot reinforces delusions, encourages dangerous behavior and assists users in planning violence like mass shootings, the lawsuits claim.
The lawsuits represent the most significant coordinated state action against an artificial intelligence company, adding to a wave of legal challenges OpenAI faces as it prepares for a public listing. Florida’s attorney general filed the first such state suit in June.
The lawsuits accuse the company of violating state consumer protection laws by misleading users about the safety of ChatGPT. The states also allege that the company created a public nuisance by endangering the health of their residents.
The lawsuits seek orders forcing OpenAI to make changes to how ChatGPT works. Among other things, the states want the company barred from developing AI models that can improve themselves unless it can ensure those models are aligned with human values.
The states, which also include Arkansas, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska and West Virginia, are also seeking civil monetary penalties for OpenAI’s violations of state law as well as damages.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran spent 30 years digging missile cities under its mountains, and that’s why seven months of bombing never ended this war
By late March, after a month of round-the-clock strikes, five people familiar with US intelligence told Reuters that Washington could confirm destroying only about a third of Iran’s missiles.
Another third was buried and unknowable.
The rest sat untouched.
Residents in Kermanshah told the Irish Times that missiles flew from the same mountains within hours of a strike, because a collapsed tunnel mouth gets dug out in a day and the weapons behind it were never hit. By June, US estimates had Iran keeping around 70% of its launchers and stockpile.
Now Israel is warning that Pickaxe Mountain, the enrichment site Iran carved deeper than any bunker buster reaches, is coming online too.
That’s the whole war in one engineering fact: American bombs can shut a door, they can’t reach what’s behind it. Seven months bought time.
The arsenal is waiting for a ceasefire to come out.
