A section of Vermont highway is now known as the David Chris Maland Memorial Highway.
Maland was allegedly shot during a traffic stop by Teresa Youngblut, a member of the Zizians.
The Zizians are a fringe, cultlike group linked to 6 deaths across 3 states.
It’s associated with Jack “Ziz” LaSota, a transgender woman known for supporting radical ideas involving rationalism, veganism, gender identity, and AI.
Youngblut faces the death penalty and has pleaded not guilty.
