Iran has warned regional countries that its armed forces could carry out ground operations into neighboring countries, and target including Saudi oil facilities if another war breaks out, according to the WSJ.
WSJ also reports that Iran is preparing to increase attacks on US forces, including possible attempts to sink US navy vessels and kill sailors onboard.
The warnings come as Iran steps up its military preparations. Over the past several days Iran has conducted large-scale missile exercises and test-fired multiple ballistic missiles.
Some reports from Iran also claim that Iran has tested anti-ship ballistic missiles with high accuracy and destructive power, potentially giving Iran another advanced weapon against US warships.
Iran did not appear to have this capability during the war and mainly relied on anti-ship cruise missiles, some of which have a range of up to 300 km.
Taken together, these preparations suggest Iran is preparing for an all-out war.
