🇺🇸 14 lives erased in two mass shootings just hours apart
Five were shot dead at a home in Douglas, Georgia. Nine died in Erie, Pennsylvania, including the gunman.
Police say two children and a pregnant woman were among them.
Erie’s police chief called it one of the hardest scenes of his 28 years on the job.
All nine deaths happened before officers arrived. They had been alerted via ShotSpotter, a controversial detection system that uses AI to identify possible gunshots.
That’s 431 mass shootings so far this year and it certainly won’t be the last.
