🇮🇷🇸🇦 Prof. Marandi: Another war with Iran could put the Gulf states themselves at risk
Following the Houthi missile strike on Riyadh airport, Professor Mohammad Marandi warned that the region could be heading toward something far worse.
He believes Iran is already preparing for another American attack and may even consider striking first.
But his biggest warning concerns the Gulf countries hosting American forces.
Marandi argues that if Washington attacks Iran’s energy infrastructure, Tehran could retaliate against oil and gas facilities across the Gulf.
He also believes Turkey and Pakistan would struggle to defeat the Houthis even if they entered the Yemen war.
His point is that another confrontation may no longer remain confined to Iran, Israel or Yemen.
The countries providing bases, airspace and logistical support could find themselves directly in the conflict.
And with energy markets already under pressure, the economic consequences could extend far beyond the Middle East.

Operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, have been temporarily suspended following attacks carried out on Saturday.
According to Report, the kingdom”s General Authority of Civil Aviation said the airport will remain closed until damage assessments are completed and the safety of its facilities is verified.
“King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was attacked on Saturday afternoon. Several people were injured in the attack, and the exact number is still being determined,” the authority said in a statement.
Earlier today, it was reported that a pilot with Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia Airlines, and two other Saudi nationals had been killed in Houthi strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
