🚨🇮🇷 Iran has executed 34 protesters since the war began, including two young men hanged from a crane in a public square A 15-year-old dragged from his bed, 12 men sentenced to death in a single closed hearing, and a crane rising over an Isfahan square at dawn… That’s Iran’s other war. While US and Israeli bombs fell, the regime executed at least 34 people tied to January’s protests, more than double the 15 executed over four years after the 2022 uprising. The pressure reaches abroad too, with Iranians in Turkey, Armenia and Georgia reporting threats to their families, canceled passports and even warnings of kidnapping plots. So why is the regime’s grip at home tighter after seven months

🚨🇮🇷 Iran has executed 34 protesters since the war began, including two young men hanged from a crane in a public square

A 15-year-old dragged from his bed, 12 men sentenced to death in a single closed hearing, and a crane rising over an Isfahan square at dawn…

That’s Iran’s other war.

So why is the regime’s grip at home tighter after seven months of war?

The US and Israel say they hit at least 17 sites used to crush the protests, yet the executions only sped up, so any plan that counts on Iranians rising up again has to reckon with a security state that inexplicably digs in harder under fire.

Trump allows US to buy Russian diesel to address surging fuel costs #shorts

President Trump announced Friday that the US will buy large amounts of Russian diesel to address surging fuel costs — making a major foreign-policy pivot to ease costs just before the midterm elections.

“I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump backstabs allies, breaks sanctions for sudden Russian diesel deal

Jen Psaki reports on Donald Trump giving Russian President Vladimir Putin another big boost by dropping sanctions to allow Russia to move more diesel fuel to market and suggested the U.S. would be among the buyers. Trump even thanked Putin even though the diesel release is not expected to be enough to change global diesel prices, but will yield billions for Russia to spend on its war against ostensible U.S. ally, Ukraine. Brett McGurk, former White House coordinator for the Middle East, joins to discuss.
