“We also have a camera that may or may not be able to read license plates from 40 miles away at 30,000 feet”

WowJennifer Jacobs (@JenniferJJacobs)In Iceland,  @SecRubio toured a P-8A Poseidon, the U.S. Navy’s maritime patrol aircraft used for intelligence and surveillance, and detecting and attacking ships and submarines. “We also have a camera that may or may not be able to read license plates from 40 miles away at 30,000 feet. It’s a very high-powered camera,” one of the crewmen told Rubio. The crew is also “able to listen to any frequencies that submarines might put out — anything from an electrical outlet to a hydraulic pump.”—  https://x.com/JenniferJJacobs/status/2107449503670218779
