Someone called in a fake murder at her parents’ house, sending police in with guns drawn.
Her boyfriend was thrown to the ground, while her dad and brother had guns pointed at them.
The next day, a man called her lawyer’s office and warned her to drop the case or “blood will be shed.”
Meanwhile, big social media accounts are playing detective, trying to expose her identity to hundreds of thousands of followers.
Even women wrongly identified as Jane Doe are getting threats.
Her lawyer says the FBI is now investigating, while she’s covering her windows with paper because she’s afraid someone might shoot her.
She filed anonymously for protection. Apparently, some corners of the internet took that as a personal challenge.
