🇺🇸 Marilyn Monroe and Sydney Sweeney apparently have more in common than Hollywood comparisons. They’re actually related. Genealogy site MyHeritage traced the two actresses back to a shared ancestor, Ezra Perry, an English settler in Massachusetts in the 1600s. That makes them ninth cousins, once removed. And Sweeney isn’t the only one. Dakota Johnson, who recently played Monroe in a short film, is reportedly her ninth cousin, three times removed. Some families pass down recipes. Isaias to become Major Hurricane, Set to make Landfall Friday Evening on the Gulf Coast

We continue to track Isaias in the Gulf. It is now a strong category 2 hurricane and is expected to become a major category 3 hurricane later this morning as it continues its turn northward. Landfall is still expected between Gulf Shores and Destin between 6 PM and 10 PM this evening, likely as a category 2 hurricane. Outer rain bands, gusty winds and rough surf will pick up this morning. More significant impacts will ramp up this afternoon and evening as Isaias nears the coastline. Local impacts include rain of 3-7” with flooding possible, tropical storm and hurricane force winds, isolated tornadoes, rough surf, and 5-7 foot storm surge near and east of the landfalling location. We do have hurricane warnings SE of I-65, tropical storm watches inland, and storm surge warnings at the coast. We also have a flood watch for our coastal counties and a high surf warning in place.
