Another war with Iran could break out in the coming weeks, while Israel remains on high alert despite Trump’s recent statement that the US will not attack Iran before the midterm elections, which are set to take place in november, according to Israel’s Channel 14. NYT reports that the Pentagon has drawn up plans for a three-day campaign of intense strikes on Iran, targeting its missile and drone arsenal, energy infrastructure and IRGC headquarters. Meanwhile, channel 14 reports that senior IRGC figures are calling for strikes against major targets across the region within the next three weeks. The report says they believe Trump could order an attack on Iran before the US midterm elections.
