The real implications of the Hanning espionage case are very interesting.
It heavily leads to the conclusion that Schröder, who put him in Power, was not “turned” “pro Russia” after being Chancellor, but already BEFORE he became Chancellor.Schröder became Chancellor in October 1998. Hanning became Head of the BND in December 1998.

🇪🇸 Spain’s government is trying to pass the SAME housing measures parliament already rejected…
Last week, lawmakers voted down decrees including rent caps, eviction protections, and limits on corporate home purchases.
The defeat helped trigger Pedro Sánchez’s decision to call a snap election for November 29.
Now, with Parliament dissolved, the government plans to send nearly identical measures to a 69-member caretaker body, where they are expected to have enough support to pass.
It’s created an unusual democratic controversy: measures rejected by the full elected parliament could still take effect temporarily through the much smaller body left behind during the election period.
Spain is heading into an election, but the housing fight that triggered it may be decided before voters even reach the polls.

Now, a new contest for “competitive sleepers” is hoping to encourage people to snooze for longer.
