President Donald Trump’s new “Super Intelligence Force” aims to keep the U.S. in the lead on artificial intelligence development. It will be led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, who is expected to be named Trump’s AI czar. The other members of the force are Federal Trade Commission Chair Andrew Ferguson, under secretary of Defense for research and engineering Emil Michael and Director of the Office of Personnel Management Scott Kupor. The men have 120 days — around four months — to achieve U.S. dominance in AI, alongside other objectives. NewsNation’s Alex Caprariello reports.

The U.S. Army is testing counter-drone technology near the Mexico border as officials report rising cartel-linked drone activity. During the Falcon Peak exercise in Arizona, companies demonstrated radar, interceptor drones and autonomous weapons designed to detect and defeat small unmanned aircraft. The military says it detected 378 drone incursions in 30 days and has downed 11 cartel drones with lasers since August.

🇺🇸 Mamdani says NYC is taking kids off a childcare waitlist for the first time in 15 months, and more than 29,000 are still on it
“There is light at the end of the voucher tunnel.”
The program has run for nearly 3 decades. In May 2025, the need passed the money, new families went on a list, and the list kept growing.
Parents and providers told him it is a lifeline, and that being stuck on it with no end in sight hurts.
The city is starting to pull names off, on a rolling basis, and he called it the beginning, although the line behind it is still 29,000 children long.

Mossad representative to the cabinet on flydubai co-pilot:
“We discovered that in recent years the terrorist visited countries that are hostile to Israel, some of them enemy countries. These were hasty visits. We are checking whether during these visits someone or some organization activated or recruited him.”

Some stories make headlines. Others get ignored. On “Unreported,” Meagan Medick takes a deeper look at the unexplained through the eyes and experiences of you, the viewers. You send the mystery – we investigate. This week, Meagan gets a live update from Turkey, where researchers are drilling for what some believe is Noah’s Ark. Meagan speaks with Andrew Jones, founder of Noah’s Ark Scans, who has studied the site for decades, and Lauren Witsky, director of fundraising for the project.
They discuss new ground-penetrating radar results showing what researchers call “organized structure” below the surface instead of solid rock, a drill bit that shattered on an unidentified hard layer several meters down and the mysterious “drogue stones” found scattered near the site that may have anchored the Ark. “I personally was studying this since I was in middle school. … I believe it’s the buried remains of Noah’s Ark,” Jones says.
