Turkey and Pakistan have AGREED TO BEGIN DEPLOYING MILITARY FORCES and capabilities to Saudi Arabia under the 3 countries’ collective defense agreement

Following the LATEST HOUTHI ATTACKS, an emergency meeting in Riyadh agreed to move “IMMEDIATELY” toward practical implementation of those commitments and the rapid deployment of agreed forces inside the Kingdom.

We still don’t know the size of those forces, which units will deploy, when they will arrive or what their rules of engagement will be.

But the direction is now clear.

The Mecca Alliance stopped being an agreement on paper.

Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan have spent the past two months building a mutual-defense architecture around one extraordinary commitment: an attack on one is treated as an attack on all three.

Now, after the escalating Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, the alliance is moving from deterrence toward actual military coordination.

And this is much bigger than another Saudi response to Yemen.

A NATO member, a nuclear-armed state and the most powerful Gulf monarchy have created a collective-defense pact in the middle of a regional war.

The question hanging over the Mecca Alliance was always whether those words would mean anything when one member actually came under attack.

We’re beginning to get the answer.
