The new WH task force will coordinate the federal government’s push on advanced AI and examine its risks, opportunities, and potential oversight.
It follows last week’s voluntary safety accord signed with major tech companies including OpenAI, Nvidia, Google, Meta, Anthropic, and xAI.
Trump says the technology could be “bigger than the Industrial Revolution, and the Internet.”
And he’s putting his intelligence chief, Jay Clayton, at the center of the effort.
