TBN Israel’s Ashlea Alex, Yair Pinto, and Mati Shoshani report on the Israel-Iran and regional war.

IRAN: Tehran is expanding its bomb-production network, and Israel is warning that the regime is trying to reach nuclear weapons at any cost. President Trump says Iran gave up on nuclear weapons, but Washington is making clear that Iran will never be allowed to hold a nuclear weapon — and that all options are still on the table.

U.S. FIREPOWER: The USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group is moving toward the Middle East, carrying more than 65 aircraft, including F/A-18 fighter jets, electronic warfare aircraft, early-warning aircraft, helicopters, and escort ships. Together with the USS Makin Island amphibious ready group, the United States may soon hold three aircraft carrier strike groups in the region, two amphibious ready groups, more than 20,000 Navy and Marine personnel, and hundreds of aircraft.

HORMUZ: Iran tried to choke the most important oil route in the world, but the tables are turning. The American blockade on Iranian oil continues, while other Gulf oil is moving back toward pre-war levels. More than 14 million barrels of oil per day are once again moving through the Strait of Hormuz, while Iranian exports are being squeezed. The message from Washington is clear: Iran does not control Hormuz. The United States does.

IRAN’S COLLAPSE: The Iranian rial has fallen to a new low, inflation is above 70%, and the central bank in Tehran is preparing to sell up to 2 billion dollars in an attempt to slow the collapse. At the same time, the U.S. Treasury is expanding sanctions into land transportation, railways, and the auto industry — cutting deeper into the financial systems supporting the Revolutionary Guards.

YEMEN / HOUTHIS: Yemen is burning again. Reports point to Saudi-backed strikes in Sana’a, Saada, and Taiz, as the war against the Houthi terror organization moves into another stage. Saudi Arabia may be preparing its largest campaign in Yemen in years, while the United States provides intelligence and targeting data. Iran tried to pressure the world through Hormuz — and now its Houthi proxy is threatening Bab al-Mandab, the southern gate of the Red Sea.

LEBANON / GAZA: Hezbollah is once again testing Israel. After the terror organization acted against IDF forces on the Ali al-Taher ridge, the Israeli Air Force struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure in Nabatieh and Ansar. In Gaza, Israel attempted to eliminate Ali al-Amoudi, currently considered the most senior Hamas figure in the Gaza Strip and especially close to Yahya Sinwar. His fate remains unclear.

FRANCE / EUROPE: Hamas’s money network is reaching deep into Europe. Five suspects have been charged in France on suspicion of transferring funds intended for Hamas through frameworks presented as humanitarian. At the same time, France is facing massive unrest, with more than a thousand schools swept into protest, violence spreading, and police confronting growing chaos. The report asks whether radical Islamist elements are trying to exploit the burning streets of France.

UK / FAIRFORD: The investigation into the attempted attack near the Fairford base in England is growing more complicated. A sixth suspect, a British-Iranian citizen, was arrested in London, and police are examining possible foreign-state involvement.

Yemen’s government has announced a major military campaign to retake Houthi-held territory just as the rebels claim to have launched missile and drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities. With the Houthis making gains near a key Red Sea shipping route and regional powers increasingly involved, concerns are growing that the conflict could spill far beyond Yemen’s borders.

President Trump signaled an imminent decision regarding potential military action against Iran, telling reporters that Tehran faces choices “the easy way or the hard way” following months of sporadic hostilities. While Trump claimed Iran is abandoning its nuclear ambitions, national security aides recently met at Camp David to weigh options. Meanwhile, sources indicate that Iran is preparing a forceful response if Washington resumes large-scale military attacks.

About this book:
The Secret Adversary is a classic novel by British author Agatha Christie. It is Book 1 in the Tommy and Tuppence series. This is the complete and unabridged full cast audiobook.

Plot summary (no spoilers):
Tuppence Cowley, a demobbed war nurse with no money and a clergyman’s house waiting for her return, bumps into old friend Tommy Beresford in postwar London and proposes a gamble. The two penniless young people place an advertisement offering their services as The Young Adventurers, Ltd., willing to do anything and go anywhere for pay. They expect a lark. What they get is a job from a stranger who wants them to vanish, and a name they have both overheard in passing: Jane Finn. It belongs to a young American woman who disappeared after the sinking of the Lusitania, and some very powerful people are hunting for her and for the secret papers she may have carried. As the pair follow the trail from London drawing rooms to dangerous addresses, an American millionaire joins the search, a society beauty keeps her own counsel, and a hidden leader known only as Mr. Brown always seems one step ahead. The Young Adventurers are about to learn what the job really costs.
