They appeared at Westminster magistrates’ court and were sent to the Old Bailey on October 23.
They were arrested on September 20, the day before Yom Kippur, and almost a year after the Heaton Park synagogue attack that killed 2 worshippers.
Prosecutors say they researched the synagogue, a Jewish museum and a school, and were in contact with a 3rd man assessed to be in Iran.
One reached Britain by boat in 2020 after 5 years claiming asylum in Germany, got asylum in Britain in 2023, and has leave until July 2028.
The other one crossed in 2023 and still has a claim pending.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public from this case… although the recods say otherwise.
