One projectile reportedly struck Yanbu on October 1 and briefly halted loading at the Red Sea port Saudi Arabia leans on to ship oil around Hormuz, and Riyadh hasn’t issued an alert or acknowledged it.
Yemen’s army, meanwhile, says it carried out 71 precision strikes on Houthi fighters and reinforcements across Taiz province, with more coming.

“The greatest city in the world is now welcoming the greatest rock band of our generation,” AOC told the Queens crowd before the band took over Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Forget the opener, how did AOC and Bernie end up on THIS side quest? 😂

Crude is flowing again, but the diesel shortage is still unsolved, and Iran is nowhere near its ceiling:
“30 drones and ten missiles a week is nothing compared to their capabilities.”
Every week of escorts burns interceptors, fuel and sailor hours that taxpayers are covering on a tab Washington hasn’t published, and that bill grows whether or not Iran ever turns the dial up.

Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal)🇦🇪🇮🇱 The co-pilot accused of attacking the captain on the Dubai to Tel Aviv flight had reportedly been flagged by Oman over extremist views, and flydubai hired him anyway and put him on that route
The Wall Street Journal reports Oman had banned him from flying over radical ideological views, and CNN reports Oman’s national airline removed him from pilot training last year over alleged extremist views and moved him to another role.
Eight months ago flydubai took him on, after a stint at Royal Air Maroc, and assigned him to the UAE-Israel route in the middle of a regional war.
He was born in the UAE to an Omani father and a Syrian mother.
Whether Muscat warned anyone is unknown.
Netanyahu now says the attacker was radicalized and came to crash the plane with everyone aboard, that Israel is investigating whether someone sent him, and that whoever did will pay a very heavy price.
The question that line skips is how a man one Gulf airline wouldn’t let fly ended up in the cockpit of another’s most sensitive route, and who signed off.
If the vetting failed this badly in Dubai, the next round of this war starts with a personnel file.

Some participants even need just 10 minutes of calibration per WEEK instead of every day.

The capacity check was due at the end of September and has slipped to mid-November, because war-damaged projects make it impossible to say how much oil some members can really pump, and not every country has even sent in its numbers.
The UAE already quit the group in May over its quota, and Iraq has weighed leaving too.
Quotas only work when every member trusts the math, and with the numbers missing, the UAE gone and Iraq eyeing the door, this war could end up breaking OPEC’s grip on oil prices long after the strait reopens.
