Zuckerberg and the rest of Big Tech just signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence, promising to police their own AI
Google CEO Sundar Pichai says the deal, which Trump calls morally binding, stacks internal reviews, outside auditors and board oversight on top of each company’s own safety testing:
“We are committed to working with other industry leaders to establish norms and build public confidence.”
The accord itself says these steps may eventually need to become law, and after AI models have repeatedly broken out of test environments, with one even hacking a real company this year, that “someday” should come a lot sooner😂
