🇸🇾🇮🇱 Syria’s president says he gets along with everyone else, so the problem must be Israel.
“Even the presidential palace has been bombed twice by Israel. Our airports are being bombed by Israel, as well as all the military airports we have.
Will that bring security to Israeli citizens?
Look at the relationships we have with the U.S., the UK, Iraq, and Lebanon. They are successful.
I believe the problem is with Israel, not Syria.”
From U.S. terror list to White House guest, and still can’t get Israel to stop bombing his house.

Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal)🇸🇾🇮🇱 Syria’s al-Sharaa says Israel can’t keep using October 7 to justify its policy toward Syria.
“It’s not appropriate that what happened on October 7 set Israeli policy for Syria. This is not logical. This brings more security threats.
At the same time, we need to understand what happened in Gaza. More than 70,000 people have been killed there.
If you want to protect your own security, you need to respect the security of others.
Israel needs to change its policy because it’s creating problems around it in order to maintain its security. This is not working for them.”
Hard to argue with the logic. A security strategy that keeps multiplying enemies isn’t much of a strategy.
