James Comey shouldn’t receive special treatment simply because he once held a powerful position. If credible evidence supports an investigation, the facts should be followed wherever they lead. #usa #fbi #jamescomey #politics #criminaljustice

The conflict between the United States and Iran is escalating again. The United States military released video of its strikes in the Strait of Hormuz.
A CENTCOM tweet reads that the strikes were retaliation for Iran’s alleged attack on a ship in the strait. Iran responded with missile attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain.
Iranian officials now say they will “completely halt” negotiations to end the war if United States strikes continue. But for now, more talks are scheduled for Tuesday.
Following this report, it’s another big week for the Supreme Court. The justices are expected to hand down a ruling over birthright citizenship.
The high court will either uphold or strike down an executive order eliminating automatic birthright citizenship for the children of undocumented immigrants. Critics say the order by President Trump violates the 14th Amendment, which traditionally grants citizenship to anyone born on U.S. soil. A decision is expected either Monday or Thursday.
