Assemblymember Claire Valdez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, is projected to win the Democratic primary for NY-7.

Darializa Avila Chevalier is projected to win the Democratic primary for NY-13, unseating incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat.

Former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander is projected to win the Democratic primary for NY-10.

The Senate voted 50-48 Tuesday to pass a resolution requiring President Trump to cease the Iran war — which ended last week with a memorandum of understanding. Four Republicans — Rand Paul of Kentucky, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana — voted with the majority of Democrats to ratify the House-passed measure. Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) sided with the majority of Republicans.
