French-Palestinian leftist MP Rima Hassan, who is also a member of the Hamas flotilla campaign and is known for her support of jihadist and Islamist movements, traveled to Lebanon to lobby against peace with Israel and to give a boost to Hezbollah.
Hassan, who was born in Syria and whose father served as a mechanic in the Syrian Air Force under the Assad regime, has faced repeated questions about her silence regarding the Assad regime while remaining one of Europe’s most vocal anti-Israel activists.
During her visit to Lebanon, she surprisingly chose to stay in a luxury hotel in Achrafieh, one of Lebanon’s staunchly anti-Palestinian Christian districts, and she avoided staying in Hezbollah-controlled or Islamist-friendly areas.
