According to a comparative analysis of satellite imagery, between April 19, 2024, & July 15, 2025, the🇦🇿 authorities destroyed a khachkar in the village of Aygestan that commemorated fighters who fell during the Artsakh Liberation War, as well as a memorial dedicated to residents of the village who died in the Great Patriotic War (World War II).
