Iran retaliated against the United States by striking the US Fifth Fleet naval base in Bahrain. Visuals captured the exact moment an Iranian missile hit the facility. This attack follows US strikes on multiple locations in southern Iran, specifically targeting areas near the Strait of Hormuz, including Qeshm Island, Sirik, Bandar Abbas, Jask County, and Goruk. The US claims its strikes were in retaliation for the downing of an American Apache helicopter, an allegation Iran denies. Amid the escalating conflict, questions remain about the status of peace talks. US President Donald Trump recently urged Israel to avoid further retaliation and claimed a breakthrough was near. However, reports indicate Iran is not rushing to negotiate a deal, maintaining its original demands, while the US faces pressure to reach an agreement focusing on the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
