Trump ready to meet Supreme Leader Khamenei for ultimate nuclear deal
In a stunning geopolitical development that has sent shockwaves across global capitals, U.S. President Donald Trump has declared he would be ‘honoured’ to hold a historic face-to-face meeting with Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, to secure a comprehensive nuclear and peace agreement. Speaking during an explosive interview on the ‘Pod Force One’ podcast and subsequent Oval Office briefings, Trump revealed that back-channel negotiations are actively underway despite a highly fragile ceasefire following the February 28 joint U.S.-Israeli strikes that killed Mojtaba’s father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Trump also confirmed reports of a heated telephonic exchange with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, admitting he used severe ‘foul language’ and shouted ‘are you f***ing crazy’ at the Israeli leader over his continuous military operations in Lebanon. While Trump insists the U.S. will ‘win one way or another—either by the military or on paper,’ Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has swiftly dismissed the prospect of a high-profile summit, citing strict security protocols surrounding the 56-year-old Supreme Leader, who is rumored to have sustained severe injuries in the initial airstrikes. As the U.S. House of Representatives votes to curb Trump’s war powers and the Pentagon’s ‘Operation Epic Fury’ enters a critical phase, the White House has maintained its hardline ultimatum: Tehran must completely halt its nuclear program and hand over its enriched uranium stockpile to the United States to avert total military escalation.

Israel struck Iran on Monday after being targeted by missiles, while a U.S. military base in Saudi Arabia came under fire in the most serious exchange of hostilities since an April ceasefire, raising the possibility of a return to heavy fighting and complicating mediation efforts to end the war.
