An Israeli airstrike Saturday morning against a vehicle traveling on the Khardali-Nabatieh Road, near Tebnit on Southern Lebanon, killed several soldiers serving with the Lebanese Army, to include Brigadier General Samer Sabra and Captain Elie Khoury. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the attack, calling it a “flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international laws and norms,” which comes only days after three-way treaty agreed upon between Israel, Lebanon, and the United States.
