🇧🇷 Instagram has blocked Polymarket’s account in Brazil, right as the platform showed Flávio Bolsonaro at around 60% to beat Lula’s 41%.
The block came from the Finance Ministry’s betting regulator, which asked Meta to pull the page on September 9.
Brazil banned election prediction markets in April, but the account kept posting about the race anyway, with Flávio himself sharing its charts on his Instagram stories.
Hiding the odds doesn’t change them. If anything it makes the charts go viral.
