🇮🇱 🇺🇸 Foreign officials now treat American public opinion as a war front, and they’re losing it.

Eli Clifton of the Quincy Institute describes an eighth battlefield alongside the military ones, where the goal is setting the boundaries of what Americans are allowed to say about the war without professional consequences.

Going after prominent critics and elected officials was supposed to make everyone else think twice, except the numbers have moved the other way every single month it’s been tried.

Turns out Americans don’t enjoy being told which opinions are permitted.

Danny Danon told the press pool that Mayor Mamdani should be in handcuffs, and Netanyahu spent the run-up to his own speech posting “shame on you” at a city official whose crime is supporting an ICC warrant.

Eli Clifton has spent years tracing this influence and cannot find another ally that ever demanded an American mayor’s arrest.

He ties the tantrum to money that never used to cross an ocean.

Recent filings show Brad Parscale’s firm was paid by Jerusalem to push content at evangelicals, the voters who once needed no persuading.

Netanyahu named the strategy himself in Florida last year:

an “eighth front,” a war for hearts and minds inside the United States…

With three-quarters of Democrats and a third of Republicans against more aid, the campaign has moved from convincing Americans to policing them, and the mayor of the biggest city in the country is the newest target.
