A Russian insurgent movement, backed by the Freedom Legion, says it carried out Operation Barrel. Target: oil tank cars. Their stated result: over 10,000 tons of crude destroyed. Rail hubs stalled for days. Damage above ten million dollars.
Their explanation: after strikes on refineries and ports, the Kremlin moved more oil onto rail lines, spread across cars waiting for a better price. That’s where it was supposedly hit.
It’s their story. Not Transneft’s. Not a satellite verdict.
The railway is Russia’s backbone.
Seeing it burn on video isn’t the same as export collapsing. But if half is true, the regime has a problem it can’t blame on NATO: people inside the country aiming at the barrels.

Until someone else counts the tons, it’s a communiqué. Treat it as such.

The blast came off the Omani side near Musandam and the two accounts haven’t met yet.

Fars, the IRGC-tied outlet, describes an Iranian strike on a Panama-flagged, Israeli-owned vessel’s escort. US sources describe a warship swatting a small boat caught laying mines, which is exactly the scenario Mark Montgomery says CENTCOM pre-authorized under the blockade rules, so no call to the White House was needed.

He has spent weeks arguing the mines are real and the Navy’s divers out of Bahrain have been clearing them.

His larger read is the contrarian one on this board: Iran’s export revenue is down 80 to 90 percent and its economy is collapsing, so the blockade is working and should hold.

Where he agrees with everyone else is the shelves.

The interceptors are critically low, and one Jordan night burned a week.

In an open society, no religion is shielded from scrutiny. Not Islam. Not Christianity. Not any other.
There’s a difference between saying people have equal rights – and saying every verse, gender role or honor code is equal to the constitution. The first is citizenship. The second is surrender.

Criticizing a doctrine isn’t racism.   Racism is treating a person worse because they belong to a group. Mixing the two weakens both debates: the silent one – and the one about real discrimination.
The issue is concrete. In several literalist interpretations and in some congregations’ practice, women’s status and gender roles sit far from Nordic equality. That must be sayable. Otherwise values are just posters.
At the same time, Islam isn’t a monolith. Differences between countries and groups in Europe are large. Young people with immigrant backgrounds who identify as Muslim show more conservative gender attitudes on averagebut the same studies show society pulls more equal in Scandinavia than in Germany or the Netherlands.

So: hold the line. Defend the individual. Test the idea.   Integration isn’t silence. It’s speaking clearly enough that the law wins.
