Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted a working dinner with representatives of the US Chamber of Commerce.
US Chamber of Commerce Vice President Kush Choks thanked the Prime Minister for hosting the meeting and noted that the Chamber’s members represent various sectors of the economy. He said the meeting aimed to learn more about economic developments in Armenia, investment opportunities and the business environment.
Pashinyan spoke about Armenia-US trade and economic ties, noting that significant developments have already taken place following the documents signed during his August 8 meeting with US President Donald Trump last year. In particular, he highlighted the establishment of two major artificial intelligence factories in Armenia. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that bilateral ties would continue to develop and strengthen in various areas.
Pashinyan also addressed the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional developments and emerging opportunities. In particular, he spoke about the implementation of the TRIPP project aimed at unblocking regional communication routes.
The Prime Minister presented developments across various sectors of Armenia’s economy, existing opportunities, and government reforms and programs aimed at consistently improving the business environment.
During the meeting, Pashinyan answered questions from the business representatives.
The meeting also marked the launch of the Armenia-US Business Council.
