Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Kyiv is ready to attend a trilateral leaders’ summit in Türkiye, in response to an offer from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to host talks aimed at advancing peace negotiations.
Following their meeting in New York, Zelenskyy also described Türkiye as a “very strong partner” in the Black Sea. The two leaders discussing maritime security, a possible sea truce and food security.

Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan participated on September 23 in a U.S. government-hosted event in New York titled “Prosperity Through Peace: Investing in the Trans-Caspian Trade Route and TRIPP.”
Mirzoyan was a speaker at a panel discussion titled “Prospects for Peace: Implementing TRIPP and the Trans-Caspian Route,” alongside Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan. U.S. Special Envoy for Peace Missions Steve Witkoff also attended the event.
The discussion focused on the peace and regional connectivity agenda, as well as key achievements recorded since August 8, 2025.
In his remarks, Mirzoyan highlighted the historic significance of the August 8 peace summit, held with decisive U.S. engagement, for establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and advancing the unblocking of regional communications.
The Armenian minister presented tangible changes on the ground resulting from the emerging peace, as well as positive developments in Armenia-Azerbaijan relations since the peace process advanced.
Mirzoyan emphasized the key role of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) in strengthening regional connectivity and effectively developing interregional links. He also highlighted concrete and tangible achievements in the development of the Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership.
The event also addressed investment opportunities in the Trans-Caspian Enterprise Fund. Representatives of Georgia, Central Asian countries and the private sector participated in the discussions.
