🇨🇳 While Xi is in Washington, China is already flying the jet meant for the next air war.
The J-36 is tailless, has 3 engines, and 2 seats side by side, built more for range and payload than dogfighting.

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Washington Wednesday for a high-profile state visit as the United States and China navigate tensions over trade, technology, Taiwan and global security.
President Donald Trump took the unusual step of personally greeting Xi at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, rather than waiting to receive the Chinese leader at the White House. Trump and first lady Melania Trump welcomed Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, as they stepped off their plane.
The visit marks Xi’s first state visit to the U.S. capital in more than a decade and comes after Trump visited China earlier this year.
Trump and Xi are expected to discuss a wide range of issues, including trade, artificial intelligence, Taiwan and geopolitical tensions. The two countries have also been working to maintain a fragile trade truce.
Xi’s arrival is being met with scrutiny on Capitol Hill, where lawmakers from both parties have raised concerns about China’s actions and its relationship with the United States.
The visit will continue Thursday with a formal White House arrival ceremony, including military demonstrations and a flyover featuring a B-2 Spirit and four F-22 Raptors. Trump and first lady Melania Trump will host Xi and Peng for a state dinner Thursday evening.
